Today marks the end of the tenure of the one-weekers. Lots of friends were made and it was sad to see our new friends pass. As counselors, we’ve gotten very attached to all our villageois, and today was a bittersweet day for us all. It was great to see all the smiling faces, but very sad to say “Au revoir.”
We began last night with what has to have been the biggest storm of the summer! With no power to some buildings, we went from an elegant dinner to a “pique-nique chic” (Thanks Dominique for the terminology!). We dined, then we danced!
